No — there's a 3-day free trial on both plans instead. A free tier would have meant one scan a month, and one scan a month can't produce a trend, which is the only thing this app is actually for. We'd rather give you the whole product for three days than a version that can't work.
Because a yearly commitment is what the product actually needs to work — six weeks of readings is the minimum for a trend to mean anything, and a year is where it gets genuinely interesting. The $7.49 is the honest price; $9.99 monthly is what it costs to keep the option of leaving on Thursday. Family works the same way — $16.66 a month on the year, $24.99 month to month.
You're charged for whichever plan you picked. You can cancel any time before that in Settings and nothing is taken. We don't send a reminder-shaped upsell on day two.
Nothing already recorded disappears. If you cancel, your timeline and every scan you've taken stay in your account and come back intact the moment you resubscribe — we don't delete your history to pressure you.
